I have been in the motorcycle business since 1981, and while it has gone through various almost Phoenix-like resurrections / reincarnations it has always been rewarding.
I have employed many people over more than four decades, not always happily!
So why this lead-in.

I have high standards when it comes to working on my customers’ pride and joy, and not all mechanics can meet my expectations.
And I don’t suffer fools gladly!
If you are competent and professional then we might be able to work well together – I am always ready to both teach and to learn – however if you come here thinking you know it all, don’t bother to apply!

I am always asked what is the salary or how many hours do I have to work.
Well, if you are a professional, you will know what you are worth and you will know how much you want to work.
I always like to say I will pay you less than you think you are worth … but more than I think you are worth.
At the end of the day, it’s about the team working together and sharing the profit: if the business doesn’t make money, it means something isn’t working, and we welcome intelligent input and constructive feedback!
If you are prepared to work diligently, take responsibility for yourself and are not afraid of hard work – or getting your hands dirty, mucking in with the rest of the team – then you may love working with us.
No two days are the same here, and we get to work on some fantastic bikes for some fantastic customers!
Our Admin/front of house/parts staff, are expected to be multi-roled with a diverse skillset.
These roles / jobs are varied and can be challenging, as we would encourage you to work on your own initiative. Whether that is dealing with customers or other members of staff – or the suppliers. Challenging can be annoying … but it will also be rewarding for the right person!
Especially in an industry that can have a lot of perks as well as a lot of fun!

These are just some of what, you would be expected to do for us, but anyone who starts will receive all the necessary training, if they prove themselves to be competent and capable of listening and learning!

Our needs are pretty flexible at the moment, so we are open to new ideas and working practices.

Mums or dads returning to work, who need to work round school hours!
Maybe you’re a recent school or college leaver looking for work experience, or closer to the end of your working life and wanting to stay busy.
If you’re self-motivated and take pride in your work, we need your youthful energy or hard earned experience at our busy shop and workshop a few days a week or weekends!
Following on from Brexit and Covid, we are slowly building our workforce back to full strength. As the market grows, we want to be ready to serve our customer’s needs and desires!
